The Story of My Second Act at Seventy.
am a passionate self-learner and self-improvement junkie. I feel I have not wasted a moment of my life. I’ve searched relentlessly to learn everything I can about being better today than I was yesterday. That’s why I started this blog. I want to share all I’ve learned about being a woman and living to the best of my ability for all the days I am blessed to occupy the planet. I have had mistakes and failures but I am a huge believer in personal development and that we are not our worst mistake. I believe it’s possible for everyone to be better each day, each month, each year! We can let go of the past and reinvent our lives. The journey doesn’t end just because we are in the last half of life. Quite the contrary. We, of all ages, must be vigilant in fighting the attitude that the game is over and “this is as good as it gets”. We cannot control what life will bring and, at this stage a great deal of it we wouldn’t ask for, but we can prepare ourselves with the attitude that everything is “figureoutable” and can be better. Learn, grow, share, and never quit having fun. Let’s help each other skip through the tulips of life in spite of the lengthening shadows. As Oprah says, Come out of the dark. Be a warrior of light. This is my small light to share.
